When an individual reads this information, they become empowered and enlightened and this can make a great difference between death and life.

This is very important, as a person can know when they are sick and how to deal with the problem.

Once one person reads the facts contained in such a booklet, they are likely to pass this information to as many people as possible. An individual who may have never read about the information but they benefit from someone who read it. This makes sure that the society as a whole is informed and people do not die simply because they are ignorant about an existing condition.

The medical fraternity has a lot of information that it would love to pass to as many people as possible. Organizing for seminars where people can learn about different medical conditions is very expensive and difficult. An easy way of passing the important facts is to have these facts in a brochure or a pamphlet that can be distributed to patients. The cost will be simply printing of these books.

In addition to printing of booklets being cheaper, they are likely to reach many more people as compared to a seminar. The seminar can only have a few people who may attend. The other people who do not attend do not gain the valuable information. Printed work is also likely to last a long time as compared to only being given oral facts and information.

The patient handouts play a very big role in a society. People gain a lot of valuable information by reading these books. Information is power and will all these facts one is able to make better decisions and live a more healthy life.
