Three Specific Consequences Of Stress That Must Be Avoided

by Scot Dehart

Many people die from stress every year, so it is a very serious matter that you should think about to some degree. That's not being too dramatic because so many stress-related diseases can be mortal. You should do what you can to try to not suffer the consequences, or feel the pressure, of stress itself. Becoming the perfect person is not necessary when attempting to manage your stress. Just doing small things every day can help you manage the stress in your life. You will, at some point, get the hang of dealing with stress the right way.

You should basically expect to make many mistakes if you have a stressful job, as the stress will actually provide the environment for this to happen. Combat pilots are well known for making critical errors at the wrong time, mostly because of the stress they were under. What commonly happens is the pilot is overloaded with information. A person's mind is not capable of handling all of this information at the same time. The consequences of stress, during these extreme moments, or literally breeding grounds for making mistakes very easily. Your judgment can be impaired quite a bit if you are in such a job situation, something that most of us do not have. As you can see, having the ability to manage your stress is something you need to learn.

The first thing you'll notice is that your back muscles, and neck muscles, will be really stiff. If your muscles are always tight, chronically so, you are almost guaranteed to have migraines, or at the very least, tension headaches on a regular basis. Depending upon the level of stress, chemical changes in your body can wreak havoc throughout your entire system. High levels of adrenalin and cortisol (hormone) in the blood stream will be felt throughout the body. Some doctors and researchers attribute many disease states to swelling caused by high cortisol levels. Overeating is a very common response that people have to stress, something that will happen if people cannot deal with chronic stress in their lives. Kids that are teenagers can have very serious reactions to this condition. The effects of obesity on younger individuals can be quite extreme, and related medical conditions can also affect them badly. When you look at teens in the United States, you realize that cardiovascular disease in obese teens (and Type II diabetes) has risen dramatically. Although stress levels can cause people to be obese, it is not the only factor involved. Teenagers in school, and even preteens, have a predisposition to gaining weight because of being unable to deal with peer pressure. There is some feeling of satisfaction that comes from eating junk foods that taste very good.

No information by itself will move you to action, and that is true for <a href="http://www.railtracker.org/?p=84">proactol review</a>, as well. Most people, the majority of them, do nothing all throughout their lives and nothing good happens from that. We do not really know why most people do not advance themselves, but that seems to be the common thing to do, or not do. The most critical aspect of this is making the decision that you will make a difference in your life. Half the battle with anything is making decisions and following through with them. After saying all of that, it is time to move forward.

Stress is so detrimental that it can actually be traced as the causative agent of major diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular disease and many others. In reality, it's not the stress in our lives that actually causes these problems to manifest disease. The most important point about stress is how we react to it and what measures we take to reduce the effect are what makes the difference.

Have you ever noticed that people respond in the same way too unpleasant events or situations? You can actually develop unhealthy habits as a result of too much stress in your life. When people eat too much, or smoked too much, it's usually a way to deal with the stress. Access to prescription drugs, and the abuse of them, is directly related to coping with stress, especially in the US. Any one of those behaviors or a combination of them is obviously unhealthy and dangerous. So if you have chronic stress every single day, there are many healthy solutions for handling it effectively. Many people choose an unhealthy solution over a healthy one in most cases. Your goal is to take better care of your health, your body, and also your family if you have one. You probably know that stress can come upon you, and hit you, especially if you are not paying attention to life. If you think about it, stress is a constant in our lives, and has been since the dawn of time. Worrying about stress is something that you should never do, since you can't get rid of it anyway. You can smooth the reaction of stress in your life by not fighting it. This tends to work most of the time. People can learn to function at high stress levels if they want to.
