Nickel is a metallic elements that occurs naturally in nature. It has several uses in our daily lives. It occurs a silvery-white metal with a golden tinge. The many uses can be attributed to a number of very rare characteristics found in this element. It has the ability to withstand even the most corrosive elements in nature. It is also known to be very strong under both tensile and compressional forces. To add to that, this metal maintains all the above qualities even under high temperatures or low ones.

On the other hand it is also known to cause a number of complications in the human body. The most popular among them is a reaction commonly known are allergies. These allergies are however not very popular and only rare cases are reported every once a while. In addition cases of metal poisoning have also been reported but incidences for nickel are rare indeed.

The allergy is referred to as contact dermatitis. It is basically due to exposure to an irritant chemical compound. It has signs such as itching, redness and burning as well. Loss of hair is not one of the symptoms however. Hair loss also known as balding is majorly a genetic problem. The people that experience hair loss have a coding in their genes that causes this particular problem.

Many people have associated hair lose experiences to exposure to the metal as well. This however has no scientific bearing whatsoever. Hair loss has over time been attributed to be genetically affiliated. This condition of one losing hair from the head is also referred to as balding. It is popular among the old aged people but some cases have been reported among the youth too. It should be tried for it has been a success.
